AUSTRIAN DELEGATION TO VISIT AZERBAIJAN
Vienna, 20 April (AZERTAC). On the invitation of the chairman of Azerbaijan`s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Supreme Majlis Vasif Talibov, an Austrian parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker of the Styrian State Parliament Siegfried Schrittwieser will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan on Wednesday.
A 30-person delegation will include MPs, government officials, mayors, businessmen of the Styrian State Parliament, and journalists.
They will meet top officials of the autonomous republic. Austrian guests will also attend “round table” meeting on social-economic development of Nakhchivan, as well as visit some local industrial enterprises, Salt Physiotherapy Center and Nakhchivan State University.
On Friday, the delegation will arrive in Baku to have meetings in the Azerbaijani parliament, ministries of foreign affairs, culture and tourism, and economic development.
The visitors will also participate in the business forum, which will see presentations on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Styrian State.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Austria Fuad Ismayilov and embassy employees will accompany the delegation during their visit.
The visit will end on 25 April.
A friendship ties between Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Styrian State were established in 2007, when Azerbaijani delegation led by Vasif Talibov visited the state.
