Azerbaijan discusses prospects for agricultural cooperation with Estonia and Latvia
Baku, January 22 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abbasov has met Estonian and Latvian counterparts in Berlin, on the sidelines of the International Green Week - 2013 exhibition to explore ways of developing the bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture.
During the meeting with Estonian counterpart Helir-Valdor Seeder, Abbasov pointed out to draft agreements on veterinary, phyto-sanitary, scientific and technical cooperation between the two countries.
The Estonian minister invited Abbasov to an agricultural exhibition to be held in Tartu, Estonia, this April.
The Azeri Minister also met Latvian counterpart Laimdota Straujuma. Both ministers said the agricultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia was falling behind the existing potential of the countries.
Laimdota invited Abbasov to this year`s agricultural exhibition in Riga.
