Azerbaijan joins AIOCC General Assembly in Copenhagen

Azerbaijan was represented at the General Assembly of the International Association of Cycling Race Organizers (AIOCC) held in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Fikrat Huseynov, Executive Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation (AzVIF), represented the country in the event.
Attended by David Lappartient, President of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the discussions mainly focused on upcoming races, solutions to challenges in hosting international competitions, and the application of organizational experience from other countries.
The main focus of the meeting was the 2026 road cycling competitions, including the "Baku-Khankendi" race to be held on May 10-14.
