Azerbaijan launches first batch of oil products to Armenia VIDEO
Baku, December 18, AZERTAC
Following President Ilham Aliyev’s decision to lift restrictions, starting in October, on the transit of goods from Azerbaijan to Armenia that had been imposed since the occupation, cargo transportation to the neighboring country has continued.
For the first time, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is delivering domestically produced petroleum products to Armenia.
A total of 1,220 tons of AI-95 motor fuel, loaded into 22 railway wagons, are being dispatched by a freight train operated by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC from the Baku Cargo Terminal to the Boyuk Kesik station.
The cargo will then be delivered to Armenia via Georgia.
