Sergiy Kyslytsya: Ukraine to be represented at a high level at WUF13 in Baku

“Ukraine will be represented at a high level during the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) to be held in Baku,” said Sergiy Kyslytsya, First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, during a meeting with Seymur Mardaliyev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine.

Sergiy Kyslytsya noted that he expects Ukraine’s agenda to be among the event's key priorities. “The World Urban Forum is an international event dedicated to urbanization. Its participants seek solutions to challenges related to rapid urbanization and its impact on communities, cities, economies, climate change, and public policy,” Kyslytsya added.

He emphasized Russia’s systematic destruction of Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure, stressing the importance of developing broader international cooperation for the restoration of devastated territories.

During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on the development of dialogue and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
