Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences holds meeting with Vietnamese scientists

President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), academician Isa Habibbayli, has met with a delegation of Vietnamese literary scholars.
Isa Habibbayli noted the expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Vietnam across various fields and stressed the importance of strengthening ties in the scientific sphere.
Professor Van Chien Nguyen from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology highlighted the significance of the outcomes of the international scientific conference titled “Literature of Asian Peoples: Traditions and Modern Tendencies” held at ANAS in December last year. He noted that he had published an extensive article about the event in an official Vietnamese newspaper.
Stressing the value of scientific collaboration between the two countries, Professor Nguyen expressed optimism about upcoming joint scientific projects. He also revealed that a project is underway to establish a scientific center for Turkology at Hanoi University, which he believes will make a substantial contribution to advancing scientific and literary cooperation.
The sides also exchanged views on the potential establishment of a Center for Azerbaijani Studies and Turkology at Hanoi University, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between ANAS and Hanoi University, mutual translation and publication of academic works, and other joint scientific initiatives.
