Azerbaijan, Serbia to explore cultural cooperation

An Azerbaijani delegation led by Adil Karimli, the country’s Minister of Culture, arrived in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, on June 23.
The visit also seeks to develop cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Croatia, promote the exchange of expertise, assess the export potential of products and services offered by Azerbaijani business entities operating in the field of cultural and creative industries (CCI), and establish new partnerships.
During the visit, Minister Karimli will meet with Nina Obuljen Koržinek, Minister of Culture and Media of Croatia.
Additionally, the visit includes meeting between the Azerbaijani and Croatian business circle, including those operating in the cultural and creative industries.
The Azerbaijani delegation will also hold meeting with the leadership of Croatia’s “Kultura Nova" Foundation, familiarize itself with the country’s National and University Library in Zagreb, as well as visit Croatia’s Audiovisual Centre to learn about the country’s media and cinema development model and explore potential cooperation.
The visit will also feature an artistic program involving famous Azerbaijani musicians.
