Azerbaijani envoy Vahdat Sultanzade attends Culture Week in Turkmenistan
Ashgabat, June 28 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani ambassador to Turkmenistan Vahdat Sultanzade is attending the International Culture Week and Exhibition of Works of Art in the Caspian Sea coast, “Avaza” tourist zone of Turkmenistan.
The events, being held from June 24 to 30, are attended by heads of International organizations, state bodies, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps and public society.
The co-organizers of the event are the Turkmenistan`s Ministry of Culture, Administration of Balkan area and State Committee of Turkmenistan for Tourism.
The colorful exhibition is designed as a platform for a dialogue, exchange of ideas, development of interaction in the international arts community on the basis of respect and interest in each other`s national heritage.
The large-scale festivities, which included an international exhibition of fine art, photo exhibitions, concerts and other cultural offerings, have brought together representatives of art and cultural figures from Turkmenistan and other countries.
Countries including the Republic of Korea, Japan, Russia, Turkey, USA, France, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Iran also set up their stands at the exhibition.
The program of the Culture Week also included an exhibition of publishing and printing products in Turkmenistan at Arzuv hotel, screening of Turkmen filmmakers` new films at Kuvvat hotel, as well as poetry evening in the open air at the seaside.
Officials plan to ceremonially open new resorts at the Caspian Sea coast during the event.
