AZERBAIJANI FM MEETS OUTGOING RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR

Baku, March 16 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today met here with Russian ambassador Vasily Istratov, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction over successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia. They stressed the need for expanding these ties in all spheres in the future

Istratov said he was satisfied to be ambassador in Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-Russia relationship would continue to develop.

The Minister pointed out that during his term of office Istratov contributed to Azerbaijan-Russia relations. Foreign Minister wished Istratov every success in his future career.
