AZERBAIJANI FOOD AND AGRICULTURAL GOODS DEMONSTRATED AT INTERNATIONAL GREEN WEEK EXHIBITION
Fifteen Azeri companies, including Caspian Fish Co. Azerbaijan, Gilan Holding and Azersun Holding, MKT IKF Ltd, ELBA Ltd, ELFEM Ltd, Ganja-Sherab-2 are displaying their products.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abbasov headed Azeri delegation who came to Berlin to participate at the exhibition.
The Azerbaijani delegation attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition last Thursday.
Abbasov met with German Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection Horst Seehofer, Berlin Mayor Klaus Wowereit and President of the German Farmers Association Gerd Sonnleitner who were among visitors in Azerbaijan pavilion.
The same day, some leading TV channels of Germany broadcasted video reports dedicated to International Green Week exhibition, where they spoke a lot about Azerbaijan`s pavilion.
On January 19, Abbasov attended a round table, organized by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and a conference, initiated by German Technical Cooperation - GTZ.
Abbasov also met with State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture & Consumer Protection Gert Lindemann to discuss bilateral cooperation opportunities.
The Azeri companies are attending the exhibition at the organizational support of Azerbaijan’s embassy in Germany and Ministry of Economic Development.
The exhibition will end on Sunday.
