Azerbaijani President meets CEO of Thales Alenia Space
Davos, January 24 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today met Jean Loic Galle, President and CEO of Thales Alenia Space, in Davos.
They said the government of Azerbaijan always attached special significance to developing information and communication technologies in the country.
They discussed the issues concerning the launch of Azerbaijan`s second telecommunication and Earth-observation satellite into orbit.
President Ilham Aliyev and Jean Loic Galle also exchanged views on establishment of space industry in Azerbaijan, and preparation of its long-term development strategy.
