Azerbaijani President receives President of Euronest Assembly, member of European Parliament
Baku, April 22 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received President of the Euronest Assembly, member of the European Parliament Kristian Vigenin.
Vigenin said the aim of his visit was to discuss cooperation between Azerbaijan`s Parliament and Parliamentary Assembly established within the framework of the European Union`s Eastern Partnership Program, as well as the European Union and the European Parliament.
He stressed the fact that heads of state were interested in these relations.
President Ilham Aliyev underlined this initiative and program were important for Azerbaijan.
The Head of State expressed assurance that Kristian Vigenin`s visit to the country would be fruitful for “our future cooperation in this field”.
