Baku, March 11 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Chief of State Border Service, lieutenant-general Elchin Guliyev met Turkish delegation led by army general Atilla Isik, Commander of the Turkish Gendarmerie.

Mr. Guliyev told of achievements in the state border service, cooperation with the international organizations and creation of the modern boundary infrastructure.

Mr. Isik highly valued the cooperation in the area of the border security between the two countries. The sides shared views on other issues of mutual interest.

Later, Turkish delegation visited Heydar Aliyev Research-and-Development Center and familiarized themselves with construction works done in the State Border Service.
