Azerbaijan`s President receives member of Mexican Senate and his accompanying delegation
Baku, December 11(AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received today member of the Mexican Senate, Carlos Jimenez Macias and his accompanying delegation.
The Head of State said Azerbaijan was interested in development of bilateral cooperation with Mexico. President Ilham Aliyev underscored the necessity of expansion of bilateral cooperation in all spheres as well as on the level of parliaments.
The President also stressed the importance of the visit of delegation of the Mexican Senate to Azerbaijan in terms of development of relationship between the two countries. The Head of State expressed hope that such reciprocal visits would be traditional.
Member of the Mexican Senate, Carlos Jimenez Macias said the delegation, visiting Azerbaijan, includes representatives of various political parties. He said they were aware of the ongoing rapid development process in Azerbaijan.
Carlos Jimenez Macias also noted the Mexican parliament supports Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity on settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict. He added this stance would continue in the future, as well.
Carlos Jimenez Macias pointed out his country was interested in boosting relationship with Azerbaijan in various spheres.
Member of the Mexican Senate also noted Azerbaijan had great experience in the energy field. He underlined the importance of cooperation between Mexico and Azerbaijan in this sphere.
