Azerbaijan`s President receives state secretary of Security Council of Belarus
Baku, October 25 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev received Wednesday state secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Leonid Maltsev.
The state secretary conveyed Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko`s greetings to President Ilham Aliyev.
Maltsev said he joins the congratulations of President Lukashenko to the Azerbaijani leader on the country`s election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
President Ilham Aliyev described Azerbaijan`s becoming a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council as an important historical event.
The sides exchanged views on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
President Aliyev asked the state secretary of Belarus to deliver his greetings to President Lukashenko, as well.
