AZERI AMBASSADOR PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO BAHRAINI KING
Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Tofig Abdullayev presented his credentials to King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Tuesday.
The King of Bahrain said his country is interested in developing relations with Azerbaijan, and that he plans to visit Baku soon.
Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said he is well aware of Azerbaijan`s economic accomplishments under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
The King stressed he had always heard good words about Azerbaijan from heads of several Arab countries who visited Baku.
The Azeri Ambassador also presented copies of the credentials to Bahraini Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Sadiq al Baharna.
They discussed prospects for development of the two countries` bilateral relations.
The Azerbaijani envoy and the Bahraini Minister reached an agreement on Azerbaijan Finance Minister Samir Sharifov`s visit to Bahrain.
Tofig Abdullayev also informed the Bahraini Minister about the current state of peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
