AZERI DEPUTY PREMIER MEETS TURKMEN PRESIDENT
Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Co-chair of Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Development Yagub Eyyubov met with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov as part of his visit to the country.
Eyyubov delivered President Ilham Aliyev`s greetings and warm wishes to Berdimuhammedov and the whole people of Turkmenistan.
He noted cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan entered a new stage of development.
The sides stressed the importance of boosting bilateral ties, and said the bilateral intergovernmental commission will have a special role in this.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov and Yagub Eyyubov discussed the expansion of cooperation in energy, trade, economic and humanitarian fields.
Berdimuhammedov offered his greetings and best wishes to Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev.
He said Turkmenistan is always ready for a constructive dialogue.
Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalaf Khalafov and ambassador to Turkmenistan Elkhan Huseynov attended the meeting.
