AZERI SERVICEMEN ATTENDING NATO PFP ACTIVITIES
Baku, 17 March (AZERTAC). Familiarization course for the staff officers of the NATO partner states will be conducted in Brussels and Mons (Belgium) on March 16-26 and control and management of air space amid military actions courses will be held in Izmir (Turkey) on March 16-27 as part of the NATO Partnership for Peace program (PfP).
Also the capital of Turkey Ankara hosts tactical military-civil courses on March 23 - April 3; Tbilisi, Georgia hosts Cooperative Longbow/ Cooperative Lancer 2009 final planning conference on March 17-18; Riga (Latvia) and Boston (USA) host Black Sea Security Program courses on March 18-28.
Also military terminology training for teaching staff and course for partner officers will be organized in Budapest (Hungary) and Rome (Italy) respectively on March 23 - April 3. The next course as part of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies’ Higher Security Studies Program will be conducted in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, southern Germany, on March 27 - June 19. Following the individual program, signed between NATO and Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani servicemen will attend the abovementioned activities.
