Baku, March 14 (AZERTAC). Chairman of Azerbaijan Parliament, the Milli Majlis, Ogtay Asadov met today with first deputy chair of Kyrgyz Parliament Cholpon Baekova.

Asadov said Azerbaijan attaches great attention to development of overall relations with Kyrgyzstan.

He touched upon interparliamentary cooperation, adding it positively impacts on the bilateral relations.

The Azeri speaker informed Baekova about the Milli Majlis` work, saying “we greatly contribute to improving the country`s legislation and conducting reforms.”

Baekova in turn said her country is “keen in cooperation with Azerbaijan in various fields, in particular economic, political, cultural and humanitarian ones.”

She expressed satisfaction with outcomes of her meeting with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev.

Deputy speaker of the Milli Majlis Bahar Muradova and MPs Nizami Jafarov and Yagub Mahmudov were also present in the meeting.
