Baku, April 21 (AZERTAC). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Parliament, the Milli Majlis, Ogtay Asadov has met with newly appointed Hungarian ambassador Jeno Boros.

Asadov said Azerbaijan “is making great contribution to ensuring Europe`s energy security”, adding “Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipelines are playing key role in this regard”.

He stressed integrating into Europe is Azerbaijan`s major strategic priority.

The Milli Majlis chairman noted Azerbaijan places a particular emphasis to developing bilateral relations with Hungary.

Asadov expressed confidence the Hungarian envoy “will spare no efforts to make Azerbaijan`s truths and realities of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh known in Hungary”.

Jeno Boros praised reciprocal visits of the two countries` leaders.

Boros said Azerbaijan pursues very right policy on the international arena and in the region.

The ambassador said Hungary is keen to boost cooperation with Azerbaijan.
