In the course of his two-day visit, Executive Secretary of CIS Electric Power Council /EPC/ Yevgeny Mishuk will familiarize with the course of preparation for the regular XXVI sitting of this organization that Baku is to host in late October, AzerTAj correspondent has learnt from “Azerenergy” joint-stock company. Organizing committee on conducting the sitting is successfully functioning.

Delegations of energy departments from 12 CIS countries, as well as observers from the Baltic republics and Mongolia are expected to attend the sitting. CIS EPC was founded under the agreement on coordination of the interstate relations in the field of electric power of Commonwealth countries was signed by the heads of CIS states on 14 February 1992.
