Belgrade hosts exhibition on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
Baku, July 27 (AZERTAC). The Serbian capital of Belgrade has hosted an exhibition titled “Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through the eyes of children" co-organized by the Youth Fund under the President of Azerbaijan and Romania-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce.
Opening the ceremony, economic and political adviser at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Serbia, Anar Ajamov, stressed the importance of the exhibition.
He described Azerbaijan-Serbia relations as friendly, and stressed the importance of a draft resolution on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict adopted by the Serbian parliament.
Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Romania Chamber of Commerce Shahin Nabiyev lauded efforts of Azerbaijani youth organizations abroad to promote national values and strengthen the country`s statehood.
Visitors to the exhibition included chairman of the committee on constitutional and legal issues at the Serbian parliament, Serbian MPs, ambassadors of Indonesia and Malaysia in Belgrade, officials of Serbia`s Ministry of Culture, Mass Media and Information Society and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, representatives of the Serbia-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, Serbian-Azerbaijani Culture Center, and Serbia-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, students, local NGOs and journalists.
