BHOS and Malaysian Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS establish cooperation

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR, Elmar Gasimov, met with a delegation comprising representatives of the Embassy of Malaysia in the Republic of Azerbaijan and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP).
The meeting focused on establishing academic cooperation between the two institutions.
Attending the meeting were Second Secretary of the Malaysian Embassy Ms. Nurul Ain Mahammad Fadhil, Dean for Graduate Studies and Research of UTP Mr. Fadzil Hasan, Manager for Learning Strategy and Business Development of UTP Mr. Mahammad Azfar Bin Mahammad, and Chief Executive Officer for Business Development and Academic Planning of UTP Mr. Mohd Faizal Bin Bidin.
UTP is a private research university owned by PETRONAS, a Malaysian transnational oil and gas corporation. In 2023, the university was ranked the best university in Malaysia by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
