Istanbul, May 8 (AZERTAC). A book titled “Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan`s oil strategy” by Azerbaijan`s consul general Seyyad Salahly was presented Thursday at the Aydin University in Istanbul.

Addressing students and teachers of the university, consul told of the oil strategy initiated by genius personality of the Turkic world Heydar Aliyev and successful implementation of this policy by President Ilham Aliyev.

Department chief of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov attended the presentation. He met with rector of the University Mustafa Aydin to discuss educational ties between the two countries.

At the meeting with students and teaching staff, Ali Hasanov spoke about the situation in the South Caucasus and Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Hasanov provided reasons why speculations on opening of borders with Armenia made Azerbaijani and Turkish societies concerned.
