Books published by Heydar Aliyev Foundation donated to SAR’s National Library
Baku, April 10 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s ambassador to the South African Republic Elkhan Polukhov has met National Librarian of South Africa, Head of the National Library in Pretoria John Tsebe.
Mr. Polukhov briefed John Tsebe on Azerbaijan`s development, as well as State care to science and the country`s libraries.
Mr. Polukhov hailed the role of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on release of editions and presented books prepared by the Foundation to the Library.
They exchanged views on Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its consequences.
He also stressed the importance developing relations between the two countries` national libraries.
John Tsebe, in turn, said he was interested in establishing relations, adding he was ready to make certain steps for access of information of both countries in libraries.
Following the meeting, Azerbiajan`s ambassador became familiar with activity of the library.
