CATEL BRINGS MODERN COMMUNICATION FACILITIES TO AZERBAIJAN
Opening the presentation ceremony CATEL director general Sadig Gumbatov said that new communication facilities - modern telephones, high-speed internet devices and multimedia are created on the latest scientific achievements. These devices are far different from other wireless faculties and have many advantages.
The new technologies were delivered to Azerbaijan due to the investments of the American company OMNI communications inc. OMNI set up two telecommunication companies in Azerbaijan.
US. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Reno Harnish, Chief of the telecommunication department of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies Aflatun Mammadov, president of CATEL and Omni communications inc. Daria Yavalar highly appraised the CatelВ’s activity in Azerbaijan.
They noted that new modern technologies would spread in Azerbaijan and entail new job openings.
It was noted that third-generation CDMA network would serve 50 thousand subscribers in Absheron peninsular including Baku and Sumgait.
