CULTURAL HERITAGE PROTECTION PROJECT ENDS
7,5 mln dollars allotted by the World Bank allowed to launch restoration and reconstruction Shirvanshahs palace of Baku city, Shaki khans palace, in the tombs of Momina khatun, Gudi khatun and two minarets in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, head of the working group, corresponding member of the World Architecture Academy of Eastern countries Rustam Mukhtarov told AzerTAj reporter.
Italian and German companies who had won the tender, have spent so far 5 mn dollars for restoration.. Works in Shirvanshahs palace and palace of Shaki khans are approaching the end. In Nakhchivan, the work was finished last year.
