Five BHOS startups to represent Azerbaijan at GIST Innovates South Caucasus 2025

Five innovative startup projects from Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR have been selected to participate in the GIST Innovates South Caucasus 2025 program.
Below is a brief overview of the selected startup projects:
CleanX – Recycles waste oils into environmentally friendly, bio-based cleaning products.
CLIMASEL – Develops energy-saving wall and ceiling panels for buildings.
CaptureX – Creates ionic liquid membranes that capture carbon dioxide from industrial emissions.
BullyGuard – Aims to prevent violence in schools through smart bracelets and a mobile application with a built-in real-time detection system.
AgroWise – Assists farmers in improving productivity and decision-making through an autonomous soil analysis system powered by artificial intelligence.
The eight-week pre-acceleration phase will begin with an introductory workshop in Tbilisi.
