Baku, 14 March (AZERTAC). Head of the CIS election observation mission`s headquarters Yevgeni Sloboda who will monitor the March 18 referendum in Azerbaijan met Friday with Chairman of Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev, Interior Minister Ramil Usubov, Chairman of the Constitutional Court Farhad Abdullayev and officials of the General Prosecutor`s Office.

The talks focused on preparations for the forthcoming referendum.

Yevgeni Sloboda said members of the observation mission visited polling stations in capital Baku and Khacmaz region, adding they also met with agitation groups for the referendum.

During the discussions, the Azerbaijani officials said ongoing preparation for the referendum meets requirements of the Electoral Code.
