Baku,17 March (AZERTAC). “I did not expect Baku to be so beautiful and vivid. And an important point is that speedy developing Baku has kept its contemporariness and treasures of antiquity”, Albert Bressand, Director of the Center for Energy, Marine Transport and Public Policy of the Columbia University told AZERTAC while visiting Azerbaijan for the first time.

According to Mr. Bressand, the role of Azerbaijan is critical within the new regional energy projects and European energy security. “Being a strategic bridge between Europe and Asia, Azerbaijan has given the European states the right to choose their energy supplier”, Mr. Bressand said, adding that “the stability in the country promotes security of these projects”. “The security is number one focus for foreign investors. In this regard, Azerbaijan has favorable conditions”, he stressed.
