International Festival-Competition of Islamic World countries continues in Baku
Baku, April 26 (AZERTAC). The 2nd International Festival-Competition of young performers of classical music among the Islamic World countries has entered its second day in Baku.
The festival is organized and supported by UNESCO, Azerbaijan`s Youth and Sports Ministry, Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli and the Youth Center Kainat.
The event brings together more than 40 talented youth from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Dagestan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, Kuwait and Morocco.
The festival aims to uncover new talents, exchange international experience and ideas, portray the Azerbaijani culture and arts for teenagers and youth from all over the world, and intensify dialogue between performers from the East and West.
Contestants will be required to collect the maximum points to qualify for the final round.
The competition will conclude with a grand award ceremony and a gala concert.
