Iranian ambassador visits Azerbaijan Ministry of Taxes

Baku, December 15 (AZERTAC). Minister of taxes Fazil Mammadov has met Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pak Ayin to discuss Azerbaijan`s development in the field of taxes.

According to the ministry, Fazil Mammadov informed the ambassador about the successes gained under President Ilham Aliyev`s leadership. He underlined that Azerbaijani taxpayers whose income is mainly from production of agricultural products are free from all taxes except the land tax.

Minister of taxes briefed about the tax reforms, tax administration, implementation of advanced technologies, electron taxpayers service, etc.

In turn, Mohsen Pak Ayin informed about Iran`s economic policy and stressed that he would contribute to expansion of the relations between the two countries.

Praising the development of the Azerbaijan`s tax administration, the ambassador noted that Iran could use the Azerbaijan`s practice in tax field.

The sides also exchanged views on the way of expansion of reciprocal cooperation.
