MAYOR OF BAKU CHAIRS MEETING OF COMMISSION ON REFURBISHMENT OF CEMETERIES
All members of the Commission, including Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Naila Velikhanly, Secretary of the Union of Architects of Azerbaijan Gulchohra Mammadova, Deputy Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Clerical Office Haji Salman Musayev, Representative of the Gregorian community Nelli Petrosian, Head of the Mountain Jews Community of Azerbaijan Semyon Ikhiilov, Head of the Azerbaijan Press Council Aflatun Amashov, Head of the European Jews Community of Azerbaijan Gennadiy Zelmanovich, People’s Writer, President of the PEN-club Magsud Ibrahimbayov, Chairman of the Writers Union of Azerbaijan Anar Rzayev, Head of the Baku Main Healthcare Department Leyla Seyidbayova, Head of the Baku Mayor’s Administration - Secretary Bakhtiyar Farajbeyli, Head of the Baku Narimanov District Abdin Farzaliyev, head of the Baku Yasamal District Ibrahim Mehdiyev, head of the Baku Sabail District Sahib Alakbarov, head of the Baku Nasimi District Nasib Mahamaliyev attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed the issues concerning transfer of city cemetery located in the Narimanov Distrcit in Baku, as well as appeals delivered to each members of the Commission.
The Commission adopted a decision to republish the www.bakucity.az website which was created to inform on transfer of graves from the Narimanov District cemetery and functioning the Secretariat’s telephone number (+99412 492-84-50) as a hotline.
