NOWRUZ FESTIVAL CELEBRATED IN STRASBOURG
The Strasbourg office of the Forum of Azerbaijani Students in Europe (FASE) hosted a celebratory event on the occasion of the Nowruz festival with the support of Azerbaijan`s permanent representation to the Council of Europe, according to the State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad.
Head of the permanent representation to the Council of Europe Arif Mammadov read out President Ilham Aliyev`s Nowruz greetings to the people of Azerbaijan.
Vusal Mammadov, FASE Secretary General spoke of what his organization has been doing to make Azerbaijan`s realities known to the world community.
The event also featured performance of Azerbaijani folk music and dances; and participants were also offered traditional Azerbaijani dishes.
