OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE IN BAKU

Baku, March 4 (AZERTAC). OSCE Minsk group co-chairs Matthew Bryza (US), Bernard Fassier (France) and Yuri Merzlyakov (Russia) held Tuesday a press conference in Baku on results of their tour of the region.

Bryza said negotiations they held during the regional tour were not so easy but at the same time very constructive.

Merzlyakov said the main aim of the visit was to agree on the date of the next meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents.

Fassier spoke of documents Azerbaijan distributed last December at the 63rd Session of the UN General Assembly, and of the related statement by the co-chairs.

Attending the press conference, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman in Office Andrzej Kasprzyk touched upon a shooting incident he observed during the last monitoring of the front line.

He said he will prepare a report on the incident to deliver it to OSCE Chairman-in-office and Minsk group member countries.
