PHILARMONIA PREPARES FOR NEW CONCERT SEASON

Muslim Magomayev Azerbaijan State Philarmony is gearing up for the new concert season.

World-scale cellist Mstislav Rastropovich is expected to give concerto accompanied by the Uzeyir Hacibeyov symphony orchestra on the occasion of renowned Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hacibeyov’s birthday anniversary. Remaining devoted to its tradition, the philarmonia is going to invite world famous masters of art such as pianists Alexey Volodin and Alexander Melnikov (Russia), Yevgeniy Mogilevskiy (Belarus), Josef Reshef (Israel) etc. Local figures of art are also understood to give concertos in the philarmonia.
