Polish, Azerbaijani businessmen meet in Warsaw
Baku, December 19 (AZERTAC). Warsaw has hosted the 5th session of a Poland-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation as well as forum which brought together the two countries` businessmen.
Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev will led Azerbaijan`s delegation, which involved 20 businessmen for the events, The delegation held a range of high level meetings to discuss mutual cooperation with their Polish counterparts.
The business forum featured a presentation on business environment in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani Caspian Service and Polish Ulma Construction companies signed a memorandum of understanding as part of the event.
The fifth session of the intergovernmental commission saw the sides discuss the protocol of the fourth session, as well as common problems. Azerbaijan and Poland signed a protocol of the fifth session, which envisages strengthening the bilateral cooperation in a variety of fields, including economy, energy, energy, transport, agriculture, tourism and banking.
Minister Natig Aliyev addressed the event to provide an insight into Azerbaijan`s economy, and investment and business climate in the country.
He drew the participants` attention to Azerbaijan`s economic achievements, saying the strategy of economic development, which was launched by national leader Heydar Aliyev, had been successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
The Minister also spoke of Armenia`s military aggression against Azerbaijan, occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijan territories by Armenian armed forces, and Azerbaijan`s refugees problem.
