President Ilham Aliyev accepts Algerian ambassador`s credentials
Baku, December 1 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received credentials of Algerian ambassador Mouloud Hamai.
The Head of State underlined Azerbaijan-Algeria relations are successfully developing, adding both countries cooperate effectively within a variety of international organizations. President Aliyev thanked the government of Algeria for supporting Azerbaijan`s candidacy for the non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council
President Ilham Aliyev noted there are good opportunities for development of bilateral relationship in all spheres. He expressed hope that these ties would expand during Hamai`s tenure.
The ambassador conveyed Algeira`s President Abdelaziz Bouteflika`s greetings and best regards to the Azerbaijani leader. He pledged to spare no efforts to cultivate bilateral relations.
President Ilham Aliyev, for his part, asked the ambassador to pass on his greetings to his Algerian counterpart.
