President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates Gobustan Experimental Range and Training Center
Gobustan, September 13 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today has attended the inauguration of the Gobustan Experimental Range and Training Center of the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources.
The President was informed that the Center occupying the area of 38 hectares was equipped with wind, solar and biofuel energy stations.
President Ilham Aliyev launched the Center, familiarized himself with a stand reflecting the activity of the Center, and viewed solar and photo-electronic panels and other facilities.
The President was told that lighting system and greenhouse in the Range are powered by alternative energy. The lighting system in 10 apartment buildings constructed here is powered by solar energy.
President Ilham Aliyev toured Gobustan Experimental Range and Training Center of the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources, and then met with local residents.
