President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates secondary school in Nij town of Gabala
Gabala, November 18 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev opened Thursday the secondary school No 2 in Nij town of Gabala region.
The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the school.
The President was informed the new building of the school was constructed at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The old building of the school was built in 1930.
The construction of the new building of the facility started in April, 2011. The 4-storied facility covers 1 hectares.
A photo gallery reflecting care and attention of national leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijan`s first lady Mehriban Aliyeva to development of education in the country was installed in the foyer of the school.
The facility has 20 classrooms, two labs, sports hall, assembly hall, library and football pitch.
The Azerbaijani leader congratulated and wished successes to the school staff on the opening of the facility.
