President Ilham Aliyev meets EBRD chief in Davos
Davos, January 24 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Suma Chakrabarti in Davos.
They praised long-term fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and EBRD, and discussed prospects for developing the bilateral relations.
President Ilham Aliyev and the EBRD chief discussed cooperation between the country and the organization in a number of fields, including energy, non-energy sector, ICT, industry, agriculture, and tourism.
Azerbaijan`s attaching special importance to developing the social infrastructure was stressed at the meeting.
The EBRD president said the Bank placed a particular emphasis on its cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Suma Chakrabarti said he intended to pay a visit to the country.
