PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV OFFERS INDEPENDENCE DAY GREETINGS TO GEORGIAN COUNTERPART
Baku, May 25 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory message to his Georgian counterpart Mikheil Saakashvili on the country`s public holiday - Independence Day.
“The peoples of Azerbaijan and Georgia have lived as good neighbors and friends for centuries and are tied with indissoluble bonds. Today, these pleasant traditions are continuing successfully playing important role in developing relations between our countries and elevating bilateral cooperation to the level of strategic partnership.
I am sure that friendship and cooperation between our countries would continue to develop and deepen in line with interests of our peoples”, the letter says.
The Azerbaijani leader wished his Georgian counterpart robust health, successes in his activities and the fraternal people of Georgia - peace and progress.
