President Ilham Aliyev opens Republican Neurosurgical Hospital after major overhaul
Baku, December 28 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated the Republican Neurosurgical Hospital in Baku after major overhaul.
The Head of State was accompanied by his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva and family members.
Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev told the President that the hospital was built in 1985. The reconstruction work started here in June, 2010. All conditions have been created at the 125-bed facility for activity of 430 doctors and medical workers.
The Republican Neurosurgical Hospital has an operational block, four operating theatres and a resuscitation department.
President Ilham Aliyev also met the hospital staff.
