President Ilham Aliyev receives Deputy Chairman of Russia`s Government
Baku, May 27 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Deputy Chairman of the Russian Fedration`s Government, President of the Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov.
Zhukov extended greetings of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to the Azerbaijani leader.
Successful development of bilateral relations between the two countries in a variety of fields including the economic one was underlined at the meeting. The parties expressed confidence the relationship would continue to expand. They also highlighted high-level cooperation between both countries` Olympic committees.
The Head of State asked Zhukov to pass on his salutation to the Russian President and Prime Minister.
