PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES FOREIGN MINISTER OF LITHUANIA
Baku, April 7 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received here today Foreign Minister of Lithuania Vygaudas Usackas and his accompanying delegation.
The Head of State said bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania are developing successfully in a variety of fields. President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of Minister`s visit to Azerbaijan, adding it will contribute to bilateral relations.
Usackas said Baku made good impression on the Lithuanian delegation. According to Usackas, the fact that Baku was designated the capital of the Islamic culture and Vilniues was awarded a title of European Capital of Culture will help expand cultural ties between the two countries.
