President Ilham Aliyev receives newly-appointed ambassador of Guatemala
Baku, March 10 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today accepted credentials of incoming ambassador of Guatemala Arturo Duarte Ortiz.
The Head of State underlined that Azerbaijan and Guatemala effectively cooperate within the United Nations. The President praised good level of political relationship between the countries. He underscored the need to search for opportunities to build trade relations and outline new areas for cooperation.
President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the importance of strengthening relations between the two peoples for developing cooperation.
Ortiz delivered greetings of Guatemala`s President Alvaro Colom Caballeros to the Azerbaijani Leader. The ambassador praised political ties between Azerbaijan and Guatemala, stressing the need to explore opportunities for creating good relations in other fields as well.
President Ilham Aliyev asked the ambassador to pass on his greetings to President of Guatemala.
