President Ilham Aliyev receives President of International Equestrian Federation
Baku, April 24 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received President of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports, her Highness Haya bint al Hussain.
Her Highness was welcomed by First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva.
President of the International Equestrian Federation extended greetings to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev from Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, Sheikh of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Jordan`s King Abdullah II
President Ilham Aliyev recalled his meeting in Dubai with Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, Sheikh of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The President pointed he regularly met with King Abdullah II of Jordan. He underlined the importance of high-level reciprocal meetings.
The significance of the international show jumping tournament dedicated to national leader Heydar Aliyev was stressed at the meeting.
They also expressed confidence the event would contribute to expansion of Azerbaijan`s international sport cooperation.
President Ilham Aliyev asked her Highness to pass on his salutation to Ruler of Dubai and King of Jordan.
