PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES SWITZERLAND`S STATE SECRETARY FOR ECONOMIC AFFAIRS
Baku, April 16 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Swiss State Secretary for Economic Affairs, co-chair of the intergovernmental economic commission Jean-Daniel Gerber.
Jean-Daniel Gerber said he visited Azerbaijan a few times while he was World Bank`s representative for Azerbaijan. He recalled with respect his meetings with national leader Heydar Aliyev. He noted Azerbaijan`s economy has dynamically developed for the past time. He described accomplishments achieved by Azerbaijan as the result of contribution of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev.
The Head of State stressed bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland are at the high level. He noted Azerbaijan fruitfully cooperates with international financial organizations including the World Bank. Azerbaijani Leader expressed hope that Jean-Daniel Gerber`s present visit would contribute to expansion of Azerbaijan-Switzerland relationship.
