President Ilham Aliyev receives US Deputy Secretary of State Steinberg
Baku, February 24 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received the U.S. delegation led by Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg.
President Ilham Aliyev and US Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg met in private.
Then, the meeting was continued in presence of the delegations.
Mr. Steinberg conveyed US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton`s greetings to the Head of State.
Discussions were concerned with bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and U.S. in a variety of fields, energy cooperation, settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and regional issues.
President Ilham Aliyev asked Mr. Steinberg to pass on his greetings to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
