President of Azerbaijan receives former president of Estonia Arnold Rüütel
Baku, October 2 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on October 2 received former president of Estonia Arnold Rüütel. The sides emphasized the growing interest for the Baku International Humanitarian Forum, the importance of this international event, development of different criteria on a number of issues.
The sides also stressed the importance of the participation of representatives of different cultures and civilizations in this Forum. The meeting also focused on Azerbaijan-Estonia bilateral relations, prospects for the expansion of these relations.
Arnold Rüütel was the third President of the Republic of Estonia from October 8, 2001 to October 9, 2006. He was the second President since Estonia regained its independence in 1991.
